2 Days in Jaipur- Part 2

Ah, I will forever remember Albert Hall for 3 things

  1. There is a creepy beggar child holding balloons and keep harassing us.
  2. Nite once associate this with some tourist pewter factory outlet.
  3. There are enough birds here to feed a small village in India.
Unfortunately all points have nothing to do with Albert Hall. Don't get me wrong - it's a fantastic place. It started with reluctance of going to a tourist outlet and resignation that one can't avoid them if one uses tours (even private ones) to euphoria and amazement of how such a beautiful building can be so well persevered and embarrassment of ever thinking this is a tourist outlet. Must be the angmo-ish name that misled us.

This is actually a museum with mixed theme. The only thing I remember out this visit is the awesome mummy they have there and the overly indulgence lifestyle their kings have. Their size will put Sumo wrestlers to shame.

The last place of note I want to mention is Jantar Mandar, an observatory. It still works accurately till this very day as proven by our guide. As I said, they build things to last. If there should a disturbance to the magnetic field in the world, India should never fear they are not able to tell the time. A worthy place to visit.

No visit to Jaipur is complete without all the places I just mentioned.
